11.4 License Collection

Applicants must pick up their driver's license from the DVLA branch that served them.

11.5 DVLA PREMIUM SERVICE, PRIORITY TEST & THEORY TEST SCHEDULING

NOTICE: MAY 12, 2026. Premium Service and Priority Test are two completely different arrangements under the driver licensing process.

11.5.1 PREMIUM SERVICE

Premium Service refers to the expedited processing and printing of a driver's license card within two (2) weeks. However, before a person can enjoy this service, all required stages for obtaining a driver's license must first be successfully completed. These stages include:

  • Enrolment and training at an accredited driving school
  • Acquisition of a learner's permit
  • Passing the theory test
  • Passing the in-traffic/driving test

Once all these requirements are successfully completed, a temporary driver's license is issued. The two-week Premium Service processing period begins from the date the temporary license is issued.

11.5.2 PRIORITY TEST

The Priority Test arrangement has since been withdrawn internally and should not affect the normal services available to the public. Currently, applicants are expected to receive a date for their theory test at the time they obtain their learner's permit. This arrangement is intended to ensure that by the end of their training period, their scheduled test date will be near, allowing them to proceed smoothly with the licensing process.

11.5.3 THEORY TEST SCHEDULING DURATION

The general public is further informed that both Standard Service and Premium Service applicants are scheduled for their theory test within a duration of three (3) months from the date the test is scheduled in the DVLA Written Test Scheduling System. Applicants are therefore advised to take note that Premium Service does not shorten the official theory test scheduling duration.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Do not confuse Premium Service with Priority Test, as they serve different purposes within the licensing process.

12. LIABILITY

The school is not responsible for:

  • Loss or damage to personal items
  • Injury or accidents caused by student negligence
